Letter from the Editor

Welcome to the latest issue of Holidays Online – the online home of Holidays Magazine. If this is your first visit to this site, settle back in your chair and browse through our feature offerings. You’re sure to find something of use or of interest. We’re getting more new visitors with every issue. And like our corporate and divisional sites, Holidays Online has been restructured, redesigned and relaunched, and proudly serves its largest online readership to date.

Holidays Online still offers full text versions of our product tests/reviews, as well as selected travel and technical features you’ll find in Holiday Rambler’s owner publication, Holidays Magazine. This web format is ideal for offering its visitors not only text and images from Holidays Magazine articles, but access to elements you won’t always find in its print sibling, such as extensive floorplans and interiors, additional specs and images, and more.

In this issue, we’re featuring the “2002 Holiday Rambler Diesel Report,” a complete review of the 2002 diesel line-up, including new features, triple slideouts and an all-new value-priced model line. We’re also including full text from our towable review, “Hospitality Suite,” a complete review of the Alumascape’s brand-new 34RKT floorplan, an example of the innovative uses of space that people can engineer into a rig with triple slideouts. There’s also our feature, “Driving Your First New Diesel,” a helpful guide for what to expect and prepare for when piloting your first new Holiday Rambler diesel. We enter the classroom for instruction on RV washer/dryer combos with, “Washer/Dryer Combos 101.” And finally, we provide a park-by-park visitor’s guide to the National Parks System of our northern neighbor with, “Canadian National Parks.”

As always, I want to encourage all visitors to this site to e-mail myself (rpuckett@monacohr.com) or Webmaster Steve Barth (sbarth@monacohr.com), and give us your impressions of Holidays Online. How can we make it easier for you to use and navigate? How can we make it more compatible to its print version—Holidays Magazine—to better serve your needs? What would you like to see more of? Less of? We’re always open to your questions, comments and suggestions.
