The Presidential Bathroom

We were in the process of buying a new trailer when we discovered that we could not get into the bathroom without putting the slideouts out. The model is a Presidential 32 FKD. Are we wrong on this or is that the way the trailer is designed?

Over the years, towable owners have typically indicated that they use their RV with the slides extended and rarely with the slides “in.” This pattern has allowed our engineers freedom to design without this constraint. However, we offer a diverse range of floorplans in each of our models. Please feel free to contact our sales department. They will be happy to help you find the perfect floorplan to meet your needs.

Replacement Parts

We just purchased our first RV, a 1991 31-foot Holiday Rambler Alumalite. It is in excellent condition with only 30,000 miles on it, but we need a few replacement parts. Where can we purchase parts for it? Do you have a catalog for replacement parts? Also, just curious, but what is the listed current value of this model?

To purchase parts, we recommend that you contact your nearest dealer. A dealer locator is available at www.holidayrambler.com. Specialty parts may be available through Holiday Rambler’s National Parts Department at (877) 466-6226 (877) 4MONACO. If you are not able to obtain parts locally, please feel free to contact us, as your satisfaction is our utmost concern. [Note: To ensure that you receive the proper parts, please have the serial number of your unit available when placing a parts order.]

It is difficult to return an accurate appraisal without specific model information. Consult with the latest Kelly Blue Book for the most accurate and timely appraisal figures. –TT

The Tell Tale Floor

We own a 2000 Holiday Rambler Endeavor diesel pusher. The problem we have is squeaky floors in our bedroom and kitchen. The squeaking in the bedroom is worse than that in the kitchen area. The bedroom floor squeaks on both sides of the bed and at the foot of the bed. The squeak in the kitchen is where the tile meets the carpet in the living room area. Do you know what the problem is and what can be done to cure the problem? We really like our coach but we hate the squeaking.

The problem is most likely a result of loose lag screws, used to attach the floor to the frame. It is not usually a difficult problem to fix, but requires that new screws be installed, most often a two to three hour repair. We recommend you take your coach to the nearest Holiday Rambler service center. –TT
