Serve Light, Fun Foods

Summer is the best time for fresh produce like colorful berries, verdant green veggies, local honey, freshly baked breads and other farm-fresh favorites. Try a colorful dessert of mixed red strawberries, blueberries and whipped cream in an American flag pattern. Or take advantage of crunchy peppers, cucumbers and snap peas to add into a summer pasta salad. 

Activities + Games

Have some fun games for kids of all ages – like bean bag toss, bocce ball, creative artsy crafts, outdoor checkers, etc. For music, link up a portable bluetooth speaker that’s easy to move around wherever you go. 

Other Summer Must-Haves

You’ll be spending lots of time outdoors this summer as you ramble on down the road for holiday adventures – so be sure to have plenty of sunscreen, family-friendly bug repellant, canteens and water bottles to stay hydrated. Make sure you also have a shady place to be when the sun is full!
